Listing Safety and Moderation
Herpository public listings are user-created advertisements. Use the Report Listing control on any public seller page to report suspected illegality, fraud, stolen animals, animal-welfare danger, harassment, or prohibited content. You can also contact support@herpository.app.
Urgent danger or criminal activity
If a person or animal is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency, animal-control, wildlife, or law-enforcement authority first. Herpository cannot provide emergency response. Send us the public listing URL and any official report reference so we can preserve evidence and restrict the listing.
Our response process
We target initial review of suspected illegal listings, fraud, credible threats, and immediate animal-welfare danger within 24 hours. Other reports are normally reviewed within three business days. We may hide content during review, request permits or records, remove an animal listing, suspend all public listings for a seller, preserve relevant evidence, or notify authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to address immediate danger.
Every submitted report receives a private reference code. If you provide an email, we send the reference and may send the outcome. You can check the current status using the private status link shown after submission.
Blocking
Public visitors can block a seller in their current browser from the seller's page. Signed-in users can manage persistent seller blocks from Listing Safety in the Account tab. Blocking does not replace reporting when content may be illegal, fraudulent, threatening, or harmful.
Appeals
A seller may appeal within 14 days by emailing support@herpository.app with the moderation reference, relevant permits or records, and an explanation. Reinstatement is not guaranteed.
Rules
