Applicable taxes, if any, are shown before purchase. If you move to a plan with a lower profile limit, your extra profiles remain stored but are locked until you upgrade or reduce the collection.
Herpository grew from a Home Assistant dashboard I built for my own snakes. Friends saw it and said it should be an app, so I started turning that personal system into something I would trust with a real collection.
It is still built from that perspective: record the care quickly, keep the useful detail, and never make someone feel like they need enterprise software to remember which animal ate.
Herpository is currently available only to United States residents. Registration and new subscriptions are not offered in other countries at this time. Existing users outside the United States can still export their information, manage billing, and delete their account.
Yes. Your personal account and records are available on the web, Android, and iPhone, and you can stay signed in on your own devices. Separate collaborator accounts and helper permissions are not available yet, so do not share your password with another person.
No. Herpository does not request precise device location. Basic network and device information is processed for account security, reliability, and diagnostics, but an animal's physical location is not published by the app.
Yes. Download the CSV template, add one animal per row, and review the import before confirming it. Animal profiles can be imported in batches, while historical care logs and photos are added separately.
Previously loaded records remain available on the device, and supported care, calendar, animal-note, and feeder-inventory changes can wait in a local queue. The app shows what is waiting and synchronizes it when service returns.
No. They are advertising pages that help someone show available animals and buyer-facing care records. Herpository does not process the animal sale, hold funds, arrange shipping, or verify private-user claims.
Yes. You can export your animal records and initiate account deletion in the app. The public deletion page also explains what is removed and what limited records may need to be retained for legal, billing, or moderation purposes.
